Program Purpose
The Faculty Travel Award Program is an incentive program to encourage the development of grant proposals in targeted
areas of research and service. The program awards up
to $1,200 per faculty member for developing and submitting targeted proposals, preferably to federal agencies, for external funding. A maximum of $4,800 is allowed for a single project. Funding will be available through September 30, 2008, or until the funds have been expended.

Targeted areas are listed below.  Program examples are illustrative of appropriate proposal initiatives and are not all-inclusive.
